Archival Documents Display at Ayala Cebu

On April 25, 2015, at 3:00 pm, the Committee on Commemorative Events and the Executive Committee launched the Archival Documents Exhibit dubbed as: “Ang Kaplag: Panaglambigit sa Katawhan ug Kultura” (The Finding: A Convergence of People and Cultures) at the New Wing of Ayala Mall Cebu.


The documents included in the said exhibit are the blown up reproduction of old documents which have references on the finding of the Sto. Niño de Cebu, pictures of the old San Agustin Church (the Basilica today), and other important cartographic sketches like old maps of Cebu and the Visayas.


Among those who attended the event were Hon. Victoriano Mapa Manalo, Executive Director of Philippines Archives; Dr. Ana Ma. Theresa Labrador, Asst. Director of National Museum and Atty. Charlie Serapio who represented the Office of the Executive Secretary of Malacañang. Also present were Fr. Harold Rentoria, OSA, Executive Director of the 450Kaplag and Fr. Arnel Antonio Dizon, OSA, Chairman of 450Kaplag Commemorative Events.


The exhibit will be showcased to the public until April 30, 2015. (OSACebuAdmin)
