Activities closing 450th Kaplag anniversary set

CEBU, Philippines - Organizers of the 450th Kaplag anniversary have outlined the activities for the closing of the once-in-a-lifetime event that will run for 13 days to honor the renowned relic of the Holy Child Jesus, Señor Santo Niño de Cebu.

Fr. Harold Ll. Rentoria, executive director for the Kaplag celebrations, invited all faithful to participate in the activities slated from April 17 to 29.

Sto. Nino goes to San Nicolas

After the Eucharistic celebration of 8:00 am at the Sto. Nino Pilgrim Center, the image of the Sto. Nino was transferred to San Nicolas de Tolentino Parish to mark the traditional “traslacion” annually done to commemorate another significant historical and cultural aspect of Sto. Nino devotion.
